About the Artist
Gaby Moss grew up in Manhattan and studied Cultural Anthropology at Wesleyan University. Art has always been part of her life, from jewelry and book making to drawing and dance.
For a decade, Gaby was Executive Director of The ELM Project, a non-profit organization that serves children living with chronic illness.
In 2020, Gaby launched her design business with a single statement piece: The Dissent Necklace, honoring Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Since then, she has steadily expanded her jewelry collection, selling online and in local boutiques and galleries.
Gaby often incorporates natural themes into her jewelry designs, drawing inspiration from textures and asymmetrical patterns found in the world around her.
In addition to her jewelry work, Gaby loves experimenting with stop motion animation and illustration. She finds joy in exploring new creative challenges, and immersing herself in the slow process of working by hand.
She lives with her family in Nyack, NY.
