Ash Rings
The Ash rings are made using the lost wax casting technique. The design begins as soft red wax, which is formed into a ring, complete with shape and texture. The wax original is then sent to have a mold made, which is used to create a metal casting. I then finish the piece with filing, sanding and polishing.
